Front of House

Where orders are taken and payments are made — built for spills, heat and twelve-hour shifts.

Kitchen & Production

The gear that survives steam, heat and a busy pass — and keeps tickets moving.

Peripherals & Infrastructure

The unglamorous gear that decides whether everything else works reliably.

Installed properly

We don't drop a box at your door

Hardware is only as good as its installation. Ours is done on site by our own team — cabling, mounting, routing, testing and training — as part of the standard 48-hour setup.

  • 01

    Site assessment first

We walk your venue, measure the floor, check power and data points, and specify hardware around how you actually work — not a boxed bundle.

  • 02

    Cabling and mounting done right

Data and power run properly, screens and terminals mounted securely, cables managed. Nothing balanced on a crate, nothing pulled off a counter mid-service.

  • 03

    Printer and screen routing configured

Every station gets the right tickets: grill, fry, wok, bar, pass. Receipt printers trigger cash drawers. Kitchen printers flag allergens in red.

  • 04

Staff trained on the real thing

Your team learns on your hardware, with your menu, before service — not on a webinar with someone else's demo data.

  • 05

    Covered by 24/7 Australian support

If something fails at 8pm Friday, you call an Australian number and reach a real person. Cloud-based means a replacement device logs straight in with everything intact.

Hardware questions

Is hardware included in the subscription?

Hardware is quoted separately from your software subscription so you can see exactly what you're paying for. We assess your venue, spec only what you actually need, and give you a written quote before you commit to anything.

Can I use hardware I already own?

Often yes. TotalBiz POS runs on most modern touchscreen terminals, iPads and Android tablets, and works with common ethernet and USB printers and cash drawers. We assess your existing gear first and only replace what genuinely needs replacing.

Who installs it?

We do. Our team runs the cabling, mounts the screens and terminals, configures printer routing, sets up your network and trains your staff on site — all inside the standard 48-hour setup.

What happens if hardware fails during service?

Call our 24/7 Australian phone support line. Because TotalBiz POS is cloud-based, a replacement terminal or tablet logs straight in with your full menu and settings — no rebuild, no data loss.

Do you supply kitchen printers that survive the heat?

Yes. We supply impact (dot-matrix) kitchen printers rather than thermal ones, because thermal dockets fade to black above a grill. They also print in red and black so allergens and modifiers stand out on the ticket.
